SEAL FIT Training Camp

Navy SEAL training camp

Since they were first formed in the early 60s, the Navy SEAL (Sea, Air, and Land) units have acquired a well-deserved reputation for being the best trained military units on the planet. The hardest part of SEAL training is not how physically demanding it is, but how mentally and emotionally challenging it is to survive the 30 weeks of training. SEAL FIT is a civilian program designed for warriors by warriors. All instructors are Seals who have served, or are serving, in combat. Workouts aren’t pass/fail, they’re designed for the battlefield. The three to seven day courses focus on power, endurance and mental toughness. If you can make it through the program, the experience will carry over to the boardroom or any of those easy outdoor adventure sports.

The weightlifting done is all power focused – no isolation movement’s here. When they run – they run hard. There’s no jogging or much long distance running once you get on a team. Everything you do will involve weight. You will do nothing without external weight and gear. In other words, they: simulate combat, maintain, sustain, explode and then go back to maintaining and sustaining. Over time you will build the capacity to do this for hours and days. You will have the mental toughness to do this wet, cold and tired. This is what it’s all about.
